It's hard to tell from this picture that it was actually freezing here
-15 Celsius.
The weather is beautiful and the ski-runs are at the background (as
seen from Flaine Hameau). |
It is so cold here that the snow at the top of the mountains is just blown
away by the wind. |
This is our group during this winter sports vacancy (only Petra is missing
here on the picture).
At the background (above my head) is the Mont Blanc, Europe's highest
mountain (4807 meter).
From left to right: Paul, Mark,
Roy, Robert, Peter,
Nathalie, Dirk. |

I had to shoot this picture with my new lens. Here are some parts of the
nice Chalets of Flaine Hameau. |
This ain't even an après ski, but a meantime ski for Peter,
Robert and Paul! When the sun is shining, it ain't hard at all here ... |
But not everything was so relaxing. Sometimes we had to go out on our
ski's. This is me in action. |
This is Mark at speed. He's done it before! I can tell you that. |
This is Paul after a crash in the snow. Unfortunately the only action is
on this picture. |
Roberto enjoys his ski's during all kinds of weather. Even during fog,
snow and "visibility null" he likes the challenge. |

This is already the last picture of this trip. As always, one week winter
sports is gone before you get there. If you catch my drift. |
